It’s just before 8am, and everything is calm. In just a few minutes, Goulding & Wood will arrive to begin dismantling the organ in a flurry of activity over the next few days. This calm is incredibly moving, partly because I know that when the organ returns, it will be transformed: It will finally be completed from forty years ago and will allow for versatility that will, in turn, transform our ability to make music and stir souls in the worship of God. How blest are we!
