Welcome to St. Mary's Episcopal Church!
We are a welcoming and caring community, walking together as disciples of Jesus Christ. Grounded in our Episcopal identity and the Anglican tradition, we share in a life of worship, formation, social action, and pastoral care, proclaiming the Good News of God in Christ. We are an affirming parish, joyfully offering the fullness of sacramental life to all God’s children.
Donations are now being accepted to support St. Mary’s Good News Garden! Financial contributions will go directly toward purchasing necessary items for this new ministry, including a storage shed, garden tools, raised bed materials, soil/mulch, seedlings, and more.
If you would like to lend your financial support, a check can also be made out to “The Friendship Table” and delivered to the church with the memo line “Good News Garden.” Additionally, we will gladly accept excess garden tools or materials (shovels, rakes, seedlings, etc.). If you would like to donate these or other items, contact the Jason Johnson, chair of the Friendship Table at jwjohns1@gmail.com.
Sign up for our weekly e-newsletter to get updates on the progress of the garden and upcoming opportunities to participate!
Easter Sunday at St. Mary’s
Sunday, April 5
We will celebrate Jesus’ resurrection during three worship services:
- 8 am: Rite II Prayer Book Eucharist in the Chapel of Christ the King, Community Life Center
- 9 am: The Lord’s Living Room Eucharist in the Great Hall, Community Life Center
- 11 am: Choral Eucharist in the Nave, main Church building
Where is the church located? Enter the Community Life Center at the corner of Hillcrest Drive and Farriss Avenue, north of downtown High Point. Enter the Nave at 108 W. Farriss Ave., near the corner of Farriss and North Main Street.
Where do I park? Enter our main building parking lot from Hillcrest Drive just north of the church. Community Life Center parking is available on both sides of the building. Streetside parking is available along West Farriss Avenue and Hillcrest Drive.
Special gatherings: Along with our three services, we’ll also have an Easter egg hunt at 10:15 am behind the main building. Also, stay after our 11 am Eucharist for coffee and conversation in the Parish Hall.
We’ll live stream our 11 am service on our YouTube channel.
