Our Facilities
St. Mary’s is centrally located within the city of High Point at the corner of Main Street and Farris Avenue. Our property borders the beautiful and historic Emerywood neighborhood. St. Mary’s is located within High Point’s Core City, a central area of the city recently designated for focused development, redevelopment and revitalization.
The church and Parish House, built in the 1920’s, are of Gothic revival and Tudor styles, respectively. The stone church building holds 265 people and offers fine acoustics. The Parish House contains the Parish Hall, choir room, vesting rooms, and offices.
The new Education and Administration Building was completed in 2016 and includes offices for our clergy and staff, two large meeting rooms, Godly Play classrooms, and additional meeting spaces. The building also houses our Children’s Chapel. Our columbarium is located in the Garth, or courtyard, between the Parish House and Education Building. A fenced playground is located on Main Street beside the Nave and parking areas are provided behind the Education Building and on both sides of the Community Life Center.
The Community Life Center, completed in 2012, is a tremendous resource for the parish and the City of High Point. It contains a large multi-purpose hall used for worship, youth activities, performances, meals, Chapel of Christ the King, studios for the Music Academy, and meeting rooms of various sizes.
Space in our facility may be reserved. Please contact the church administrator for more information.
